Biografie
The Ohrid Festival Orchestra is the resident ensemble that each summer brings together some seventy musicians from Macedonian orchestras and the diaspora. It performs the festival's opening and closing ceremonies, the opera productions and the large symphonic works.
In recent seasons the orchestra has paid special attention to Macedonian composers, with premieres of works commissioned by the festival.
