Über die Veranstaltung
The sixty-seventh Ohrid Summer opens with the work that celebrates human fellowship — Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. Under Luca Ferraresi, the Ohrid Festival Orchestra and the combined choirs perform the 'Ode to Joy' on the stone tiers of the Antique Theatre.
The official opening ceremony, with speeches and fanfares over the lake, begins at 20:30.

Barrierefreiheit
Wheelchair access is through the upper entrance (Ilindenska St.), with reserved spaces in the first row. The stone tiers are uneven — comfortable shoes are recommended. Seat cushions can be rented at the entrance.
