Ohrid SummerOhrid Summer Festival

Forty summer evenings of music, theatre and dance in an ancient theatre, an eleventh-century cathedral and the streets of a town on one of Europe’s oldest lakes.

Since 4 August 1961

About the festival

The first concert was a single voice and a piano in St. Sophia. Sixty-six summers later, the whole town is the stage.

Ohrid Summer is the largest festival of the performing arts in North Macedonia and a member of the European Festivals Association since 1994.
