For the first time, Ohrid Summer is introducing an off-season series called 'Prelude' — four evenings that bring the festival audience back to Ohrid outside the summer season.
The series opens on 24 October with Elena Markovska's Schubert recital, continues in November with Byzantine chant by Ensemble Byzantion, and in December offers an evening devoted to the festival's history on film and the traditional New Year's concert.
The concerts take place at the Grigor Prlichev Cultural Centre and at St. Sophia.
