Ancient tragedy returns to the ancient theatre. Teodor Ilievski stages Medea as the story of a foreigner whom society uses and then casts aside — with a chorus of twelve actresses and live music.
Performed in Macedonian with English surtitles. Not recommended for children under 14.

Wheelchair access is through the upper entrance (Ilindenska St.), with reserved spaces in the first row. The stone tiers are uneven — comfortable shoes are recommended. Seat cushions can be rented at the entrance.
