Stages of the festival

St. Sophia Atrium

An open-air stage in front of the cathedral for soloists, poetry and evenings under the stars.

About the venue

The atrium of St. Sophia is an intimate open-air stage shaded by old plane trees. On summer evenings it hosts solo concerts, literary readings and small-scale theatre.

The closeness between performers and audience, the sounds of the town settling down and the light on the cathedral façade create an atmosphere found only in Ohrid.

Seating plan

Numbered chairs in a gentle arc, in two blocks. In case of rain the performance moves into the church.
